Freelance writing for over fifteen years, Julie Workman has had stories included in two different Chicken Soup for the Soul anthologies. For four years she was a columnist for Leaderlife Magazine; and she was also a feature writer for Deacon Magazine, both published by Lifeway. Julie has ghost-written countless articles for internet publication on various topics such as finance, medicine, law, business, family, and home.

Julie's interests include sewing, crafting, knitting, rug-hooking, embroidery, baking, and cooking. She even holds a degree in Home Economics. Having worked in the fields of retail management, legal support, in-flight service, restaurant service, printing, dry-cleaning, childcare and more, she has a vast amount of experience from which to draw. Julie is married and has four children who have greatly educated her on the ins and outs of family life.
